Mukesh Ambani dominates as richest Indian for 10th year, Adani earns 1,002 crore rupees per day
Mukesh Ambani continues to dominate as the richest Indian for the tenth year in a row, according to the IIFL Wealth Hurun India Rich list. Mukesh Ambani and his family are now worth 7 Rs 18,000 crore, an increase of 9% over the previous year. From a distance in second place Gautam Adani and his family are now the second richest in the country with wealth standing at Rs 5,05,900 crore. Gautam Adani’s wealth has increased by Rs 1,002 crore per day according to the IIFL Wealth Hurun India Rich list.
Gautam Adani earned 1,002 crore rupees per day
Gautam Adani won two places in the second place of the IIFL Wealth Hurun India Rich List 2021. Adani Group has a combined market capitalization of Rs 9 lakh crore, except for Adani Power, all listed companies are valued at more than a lakh crore. “Gautam Adani is the only Indian to have built not one, but five INR 1 lakh crore companies,” said Anas Rahman Junaid, MD and chief researcher, Hurun India.
While Gautam Adani is in second place, his brother Vinod Shantilal Adani has reached eighth place on this year’s rich list. Vinod Shantilal Adani’s total wealth stands at Rs 1 31,600 crore, rising from twelve places to rank eighth in the 2021 IIFL Wealth Hurun India Rich List. Gautam Adani’s brother resides in Dubai and runs business operations in Dubai , Singapore and Jakarta.
Mukesh Ambani dominates the rich list
Reliance Industries President Mukesh Ambani has now maintained his position as the richest Indian in the country for the 10th consecutive year. Mukesh Ambani’s wealth stands at Rs 7 18,000 crore. According to IIFR Wealth Hurun India, 64-year-old Mukesh Ambani has earned Rs 163 crore per day over the past year.
With Mukesh Ambani, Reliance Industries has now become the 57th most valuable company in the world according to the Hurun Global 500 Most Valuable Companies 2021. Reliance Industries is the first Indian company to cross the market capitalization of Rs 15 lakh crore, driven by the trading of detail. and telecommunications operations.
Others on the rich list
Third on the rich list is Shiv Nadar, President Emeritus of HCL Technologies. According to the report, the total wealth of Shiv Nadar amounts to Rs 2.36,000 crore. The 76-year-old industry mainstay has seen his wealth increase by 67% in the past year. In fourth place is SP Hinduja. The chairman of the London-based Hinduja group lost two places in the list. In fifth place is ArcelorMittal’s Lakshmi Mittal, who has jumped 8 places in the past year as his wealth rose 187% to Rs 1,74,400 crore.
Cyrus Poonawalla of Serum Institute of India maintained his grip on 6th place in the Indian top 10, with a total wealth of Rs 1,63,000 crore. Avenue Supermarts Radhakishan Damani, Kumar Mangalam Birla of the group Aditya Birla and Jay Chaudhry, based in San Jose, round out the list of the richest Indians.
