The money to Ukraine goes as much to the military-industrial complex as to aid

Every Ukrainian trying to survive the last post-World War II conflict between the United States and Russia on their soil deserves relief from every possible source. The source of this relief is important to consider.

5,000 miles across an ocean, it’s dishonest to say: we stand by your side and will provide any military or humanitarian relief you may need for as long as you are able to continue your fight for survival. except anything that can cause devastation like yours on our soil.

The announced relief is funded by US taxpayers and individual humanitarians. The billions of aid dollars are contributing to the military-industrial complex profiteers that former Army General and President Dwight Eisenhower warned the nation against.

Individual contributors should be aware of these opportunities and other interested opportunists. Aside from all the hype about the wealth of Russian oligarchs, there are a host of post-independence Ukrainian billionaire and multi-millionaire oligarchs, including Volodymyr Zelenskyy with a net worth of $596 million and a salary of $780,000. Zelenskyy’s assets should be assessed for helping to ease the crisis in their country and not sequestered while the conflict continues.

All the propaganda is a diversion from the fundamental issues to rally support for the profiteers. Today’s humanitarian disaster in Ukraine is no different. Just follow the money.
